Daphne’s Beef Patty

Daphne’s over the years has moved down the block on 14th St. into a Deli/smoothie shop. I miss the dungy little restaurant it used to be next to Beauty Bar. I did the whole beef patty wrapped into a coco bread. I’m so glad the coco bread wasn’t out of a store bought bag that I’ve seen at Golden Krust. Dang this was one hearty bread sandwich. I think I scared off my neighbors when I was crouching in front of my building door taking shots of this. Life of a food blogger.

God I miss Caribbean Spice in Gainesville, FL. Please send some up, Tebow.

yeah the dungy little places are the best. My favorite Vietnamese place recently moved out of their old building into a new location and it’s just not the same…

and that patty looks like there’s a lot of beef in it. yum.
