Only place I could find on Korean Way to get quick take out. My fav was the kimchi fried rice and meatball. Everything is pretty good though. I think they put kimchi in everything.

Walked by this place with the worse photos of their food on their windows. I figure the food can’t be that bad looking in real life. It really isn’t. All they need is photoshop.
Grand BBQ Chicken (CLOSED) – # 795 Grand St (Btw Bushwick & Humboldt) Brooklyn 11211
Maybe it’s always best to ask what type of meat it is before and not after you tell them to put it on your plate. Pig’s feet. I still want it.

When I was little, my sister and aunt would play a hand slapping game called “Pee Pee Pie”. You go “Pee – Pee – Pie. Pee – Pee – Pie” in patty cake fashion. I told an old girlfriend that and she started calling me Pee Pee Pie. So I make up a #1 joke that goes like this:
Her: Why they call you Pee Pee Pie?
Me: Because I Pee Pee Pie. Why they call you Po Po Platter?
Her: They don’t. They call me Poo Poo Platter.
(wah wah waaaaah)
I always wondered what would happen if you ordered Poo Poo Platter from a fast food chinese restaurant. How do they give you the fire and the spinning platter? Answer: they don’t. oh.
Food from East Met West. So this is what shrimp toast is.
While out buying underwear and socks, I passed by this cool band of brothers at Union Square. It was like Vampire Weekend meets Tom Waits. But maybe only like Vampire Weekend because they wear scarves. And maybe like Tom Waits because I can’t understand what they’re saying …but that’s because they’re singing in a different language.
A delicious artichoke slice from Artichoke. There’s always a line which means it’s good and you’re getting a fresh slice. Last time I went with Suzy Q and my slice was so hot, the cheese was all soupy. But it was still really good. Like hot artichoke dip smothering bread. I included pics from back then. This time my slice was congealed.

Brothers Moving (band) – I guess like Hanson, only because they are brothers. Or maybe not really siblings, so that would make them like White Stripes?
This time I went into Golden Bowl as the ladies yell at me to come into their restaurant. Like I said before, it’s like Curry Road on 6th St where they battle for your patronage. One time I went up the stairs on 1st Ave and 6th St and two different guys tried to steer me into their Indian restaurants. Then one guy grabbed the other’s arm real hard and pointed a finger at his face. So I went with the aggressor. He seemed to have more determination.
