Little lunch stand in the East Village serving latino food and empanadas. I wanted to revisit the roast pork lunch platter that I’ve had years back. I remembered it was really good. This time, the pork had a funny aroma …like a horse? But actually, I think this is what it smelled like when I made my last pernil pork shoulder. The stand now uses styrofoam containers rather than the round aluminum platters I remembered. It now reminds me of halal cart with latino roast pork instead of gyro meat. I want to try their empanadas.
