Thai at Pongsri was common with my lunch crew at work a few years back. We’d get some Thai Ice Teas and wonder about Thai Todd the waiter (I don’t think that was his real name). My usual was the Massaman curry and occasionally the Pad Key (Kee) Mao or commonly called Drunken Noodles.

The Pad Key Mao is spicy enough to leave me with a light sweat, but the real key to Pongsri’s version is the strong fragrant aroma of the basil leaves, which leaves my mouth feeling like a fresh herbal garden with some spicy broad noodles in there. I didn’t see Thai Todd this time around and it wasn’t as fragrant throughout as I remembered, but still had it’s moments. Bring Thai Todd back! Donna Martin Graduates!

Rik and I forgot to reminisce about Thai Todd. […]
