I bought a can of crab meat out of curiosity. Never had shellfish out of can. It’s not lumps of meat, but flaky and broken up as you can see. I pan toasted a potato roll/hot dog bun with olive oil. Put on some mayonnaise and bits of a Turkish salad I bought at my local produce store. It worked and tasted fine. I was surprised.
The can has enough crab to make two of these sandwiches. The next one I tried was with Caesar Salad dressing, but the flavors there didn’t match. Stick with the mayo. Save the dressing for the rest of the salad.
