Instant Ramen Review: Red Cooking Beef Noodle

When we were down in Sunset Park, I grabbed a bunched of different instant noodles from the huge aisle at Fei Long Market. I guess I’ll food blog each one, because that’s what I do. So, reminiscent to this Japanese guy who’s reviewed over 4,000 types of noodles, here’s my take in Engrish.

Name: Red Cooking Beef Noodle
Brand: ??
Cost: about $1.99
Package: large tub with instant dry ramen, packet of dry seasoning, packet of red chili paste and plastic fork
Cooking: easy –just pour boiling water up to the line and cover for 3 minutes. I added dried mushrooms and a raw egg.
Results: Pretty bland. I thought it would be spicy, but not at all. I added some garlic chili paste/sauce for flavor.
Additional Notes: I picked this first, because I thought it looked the best. Disappointing start. Aye yai yai… do you even care now?
