I noticed Famous Curry/Sonali is now A Desi Diner. The insides are all renovated and looks clean. The curries didn’t look too interesting, but you can get one with rice for $5. The flaky pies (mutton, spinach and cheese) caught my eye. I got the mutton one and a samosa all for $3. The samosa was good and came with a refreshing smelling mint chutney. Smelled great, but I don’t know if I liked it with the samosa. It did help the mutton pie though. Overall, a nice little Indian lunch for me.

This place opens late until 4am. And it’s the first Indian restaurant I’ve seen with burgers and mozzarella sticks …if you’re looking for something like that.
