Nothing better than coffee and beignets after steaks from Crazy Johnnie’s. Morning Call was like stepping into the past. A couple of high school sweethearts sat across from us. They had heavy accents and seemed like they came into town on a date. It was like the 60’s, straight out of Archie comics. The guy asked me what my Cafe Liqueur tasted like. I explained it tasted like Bailey’s, but they probably had no idea what I was talking about.
For only a couple of dollars for coffee and beignets, take a date or hang out with old people. It was fun.
