I had a day off last week and wanted to take a short bus ride from the stop in front of my apartment. I knew it hit Sunnyside, Queens. A few people on Chowhound mentioned the burger at P.J. Horgan’s there. Even the sign in front said they had the #1 burger. Toddles and I both got the Sunnyside Burger ($9.50) 8oz. sirloin beef topped with fried onions, cheese and bacon. It was massively stacked. A pretty good burger, maybe only need my salt shaking. The freshly made onion rings were pretty good too. Kinda reminded me of a tempura-flavored breading. I really thought I had chest pains afterward.
