Sam pointed out the huge signs at Your Taste deli –“Rated Overall Best A – New York City Health Department”. What does that mean? I’ve never ate there before. I walked in years ago, but left after seeing the salmon on the buffet bar was white. Yeah, I suppose that’s truer than dying the farm raised fish pink, but it just didn’t look right. Well now they got rid of the buffet bar. Maybe that helps in the letter grade.
I got a Tuna Steak Salad ($8). The fish looked good. Â Seared cuts of tuna. Nice and pink on the inside. You know, it really did taste clean.

…I couldn’t find why they are the “Overall Best A”, but you can look at their inspection report at the Dept of Health website. They have 4 points of violation down from 32. I suppose that’s pretty good, but is that the best?
