Met up with my sister and her friends for dinner in Midtown at Ise Japanese Restaurant. They sat us in a small Japanese style room with low tables, where we had to take off our shoes outside of. We ordered a lot including a few sake and beers and the bill was only about $108 (before tip) among the four of us. I thought it was going to be a lot more because it seemed a little fancy, old Japanese style. I liked the pork belly a lot.
When I came back from the restroom after our meal, I saw that new people were already seated at our little table. I asked the old people sitting there if they had my coat. They had no idea what I was talking about. Makes sense because the manager came running to me and told me I was sitting in the room next door. Too much sake?
