Office Potluck 2011

Our office had a potluck. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a party or anything social. I’m really glad someone ended up bringing Stewed Pigs Feet and people were willing to try it. Pigs Feet is the most fun our office has had in a long time.

Potluck Baby Shower

…for Heather and Jeff at Black Rabbit. My first. Fortunately there was a lot of good food, babies, and rain. I also got a few good pics for my new faceblog.

At the end of the day, I was giving away the cute baby shower cupcakes to some strangers and told them they could have them or share them with the other tables. The guy looked at them and freaked out, “I’m not sharing these! These are from sugar Sweet sunshine!”

Holiday Potluck at the Office

I love potlucks and buffets. I always put a tiny bit of everything on my plate because I want to taste everything. The problem is I don’t eat much anymore after the Paul McKenna hypnosis diet. On top of that, I usually put a giant cookie on my plate.

My favorite thing was the jambayala and I kept telling people to eat it. Then someone told me it wasn’t jambalaya, but chicken and rice. I said then I don’t like it anymore. And then Cerys our cleaning lady who was standing next to me said she made it.

SEC Championships + Jill’s house warming party = The Secret

After learning the “The Secret”, a 42″ Plasma 1080p HDTV manifested for me and we threw a gator party. Rusty made really good chili with some bite. The Gators were victors and I’m not sure if it was my Secret or Tebow’s faith and being blessed, but I guess it’s all the same thing.

Then off to Jill’s housewarming party next door in the Olive Park luxury condos. It was fun and the building is amazing. Hot tub, suana, indoor pool, gym, underground valet parking, billiard room and even a pet spa. I dreamt of the day I could party over there once I peeked over the backyard fence and saw the amazing litted zen garden. It looked like a backyard patio of a fancy sushi restaurant with a japanese pond. Imagine my excitement when I found out a friend was moving in. Maybe that was part of the Secret. Well I’m glad I could help Jill manifest her amazing luxury condo. Now I need to work on my getting my yatch.

Ike’s first Thanksgiving

The biggest day of the year for foodbloggin. I was hoping to re-enact the new Vince Vaugh/Reese Witherspoon movie “4 Christmases” and have “4 Thanksgivingses”. Realistically it wasn’t going to happen with all the turkey and liquor… plus I hadn’t seen the movie and don’t know all the crazy comic antics. Went with the party at Sam’s and it was surely a feast. So much food. Maybe next time half the people need to be randomly banned from bringing anything.
